Liturgy and Catechesis: Exploring their Intertwined Relationship

The article, entitled “Liturgy and Catechesis: Searching for an Intertwined Relationship”, aims to explain the closest connection between liturgy and catechesis, which from the beginning of Christianity has been realized as a unity in growing faith. Its main focus is to describe their interconnected in Christian history through some documents. For this purpose, the discussion is divided into two parts. First, exploring their intertwined relationship in the first four centuries. In this section, we are going to present several Christian figures and/or the earliest liturgical documents. Second, to examine the recent documents, starting from Sacrosanctum Concilium. The method of this article is supported by document research; there are two categories, early and recent documents. The documents are analyzed comprehensively using commentaries on the documents and other books related to the sources.
